Dr. Jijun Tang and Yiting Yang
Dr. Jijun Tang, a computer science professor from U of South Carolina, and a former sabbatical scholar here, and Yiting Yang, a mathematics grad student at USC, will be visiting NESCent this week as part of a collaborative project that grew out of Dr. Tang’s sabbatical. They are working with Gordon Burleigh and Todd Vision on some problems in phylogenetic inference and comparative mapping when gene trees and species trees are not identical.
