The SSE/SSB Undergraduate Diversity Program is organized by Scott Edwards and Rich Kliman with financial support from the NSF. The program sponsors up to 25 undergraduate students each year to attend the Evolution meetings where they receive mentoring, participate in professional development workshops, present their own research in a poster session, and have opportunities to network with evolutionary biologists at all levels (graduate students, postdocs and faculty). This will be the sixth year of this program and manyparticipants have found it to be an extremely valuable experience.

This year, for the first time, NESCent is partnering with Drs. Edwards and Kliman to sponsor additional students, provide mentors and participate in development and facilitation of the professional development activities.

If you are interested in participating in the program as a mentor, contact Rich Kliman or Scott Edwards.
