Call for mentors at Evolution 2011

Interested in mentoring an undergraduate student at the 2011 Evolution meeting in Norman, OK? Graduate students, postdocs, and faculty members are invited to serve as mentors. Twenty-five undergraduates will be attending the 2011 Evolution Meeting with support from the NSF-funded "Undergraduate Diversity at Evolution" program (in partnership with NESCent). Mentors take pairs of students to attend talks with them, introduce them to colleagues, network and generally make the meetings a welcoming place for them. Although costs are not covered for mentors, it is an unusually rewarding experience. If you are interested in serving as a mentor, please contact Dr. Rich Kliman at rmkliman@cedarcrest.edu. [ more ]
