Travel:
The nearest airport to NESCent is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Airport shuttles to Durham are available through the Triangle Transit Authority.

Accommodation:
Housing is provided at Central Campus Apartments. Each room comes with a kitchen, private bath, and two twin beds.  Students who are paired with roommates will be charged $23 per person per night based on double occupancy; $46 per person per night for single occupancy. Students wishing to cook need to bring their own utensils. The housing is within walking distance of NESCent, but there is also bus transportation that will be running on the summer schedule.

Equipment:
Each student is strongly encouraged to bring her or his own Apple Macintosh iBook, MacBook (or equivalent) running OSX 10.4 with Apple’s developer package installed. For those who do not own one, we will work to find a machine for loan.

Fees:
Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements, course tuition ($500), housing ($440, single occupancy; $220, double occupancy) and all meals. We will offer up to three travel awards of up to $620 to students from underrepresented groups.

Cancellation Terms:
Housing portion of the course fee is not reimbursable; tuition will be reimbursed for justified cancellations (e.g. medical or family emergencies) or if a replacement can be drawn from the waiting list.
